Rushlake Media acquired the world sales rights for UK-Nigerian co-production Walking with Shadows created by acclaimed multi-award-winning Nigerian entrepreneur, writer, culture figure, film and TV producer Funmi Iyanda. The OYA Media production Walking With Shadows is adapted from Jude Dibia’s book of the same title, published in 2005 and awarded with Sweden’s Natur och Kultur Prize.
In Walking With Shadows a man is caught up with a secret which he buried deeply. The film tells the story about his journey to self-acceptance – yet his character arc has a universal resonance which encompasses all forms of struggle for personal freedom.
