We ensure that each film reaches its ideal audience. Our outstanding network of partners and business associates allows us to optimally position films on festivals, TV channels and video-on-demand platforms – including Amazon, iTunes, Netflix, realeyz and Filmdoo.

Bespoke in-house innovations, such as KINO ON DEMAND, enable us to further enhance dissemination through our own channels.

Rushlake Media and Africa – a Special Connection

African films are exceptionally multi-faceted: colorful and bleak in equal measures, they show harsh realities while managing to remain wonderfully poetic.

Since 2013 we have been working to raise the profile of African film worldwide.  We have entered into a close partnerships with African production companies like ONE FINE DAY FILMS. The company, founded by Tom Tykwer and his wife Marie Steinmann-Tykwer, produces the works of Kenya’s most exciting young filmmakers.

With project like the ofdf.shop we are blazing new trails, where the entire ONE FINE DAY FILMS catalogue is available for streaming.

Philipp Hoffmann

Since April 2011, Philipp Hoffmann consults and represents production companies in the field of international sales. For the German speaking VOD market, he offers strategic consulting and handles the online exploitation for rights holders. Philipp conducts seminars about sales and distribution as well as international marketing at the Media Business School (Ronda/Spain), University of Popular Music and Music Business (Mannheim/ Germany), NIPKOW Program (Berlin), ifs internationale filmschule (Cologne/ Germany) and at the German-French Masterclass (Ludwigsburg/ Paris).

From October 2007 until March 2011 he worked as the Head of Marketing for “The Match Factory”. During this time, he oversaw the international marketing and the festival premieres for several successful and award-winning films such as Golden Globe winner WALTZ WITH BASHIR, SOUL KITCHEN, Academy Award nominee AJAMI and DESERT FLOWER.

Lena Werle

Lena Werle joined Rushlake Media in November 2013. In September 2011 she started working for BROADVIEW TV a production company of documentary films where she worked as an assistant producer and sales assistant. During that time she worked on several film productions for ZDF, ARTE and WDR. Her last project was “Breath of Freedom” a 90min documentary in coproduction with the US Smithsonian channel.

In 2008 she completed an internship at the world sales agent „The Match Factory“ and continued working for the company as a Delivery and Marketing Assistant and from 2010 on as a Marketing Manager.

Christoph Mathieu
Christoph MathieuMarketing Manager
Christoph Mathieu joined Rushlake Media in August 2014, where he’s responsible for the project and film marketing of KINO ON DEMAND.
Between 2012 and 2014 he worked as author and media manager for BROADVIEW TV, a production company for documentary films.

In the past Christoph Mathieu worked as screenwriter for several companies such as Grundy UFA, Action Concept and Cologne Gemini Filmproduktion (today: Eyeworks Fiction & Film). As a journalist he worked for German newspapers like Die Welt, Kölnische Rundschau, Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger and Aachener Zeitung.
